Project Support
The SD Foundation also gets more directly involved in building projects, primarily as a specialist client advisor. The service is normally bespoke, designed to meet the needs of the particular client and project, but is likely to include one or more of the following features:
- Sustainability champions, challenging performance and acting as a critical friend
- Facilitation and mentoring on sustainability at key project stages
- Providing additional expertise and advice, particularly on sustainable design and procurement
- Development of exemplar projects
In the healthcare sector, the SD Foundation's project support is
demonstrated in the SHINE Exemplar Sustainable Healthcare Buildings programme.
